About Christopher Lek
Christopher Lek leads the cyber security team for Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He has over 19 years of experience working in the telecommunication industry, banking sector as well as global conglomerate. He has held different roles from governance, risk management, security architecture and cyber defense.
Being a member of the senior leadership team within the IT organization, Christopher has transformed the cyber security landscape for NTU over the last few years. He has forged close partnership with various entities in the organization to address the rapidly changing security threats to the university.
Christopher is an adjunct lecturer in a local tertiary institution and an authorized instructor with (ISC)². He is certified in CCISO, CISSP, PMP, CDPSE and ITIL. In addition, he held technical certifications in digital forensic and incident response, malware analysis, and industrial control security.
Christopher also served in technical committee for the Centre for Strategic Cyberspace + International Studies(CSCIS) and Executive Committee member for Singapore Advanced Research and Education Network (SingAREN).
